Established in 1996, the School of International Business currently has a total faculty number of 41, including 14 professors or associate professors, and 8 teachers have Ph.D degrees.
The total number of students now adds up to nearly 1,000, among whom 40 are postgraduates.
The school offers 4 undergraduate programs of study, including public utility management, marketing, logistics management and e-commerce. It offers double-degree programs in marketing and public utility management. It also has authorization to offer master degree in public administration as the first-level discipline, which consists of three educational directions: government performance management, education economics and management, and public policy. In addition, the school has built laboratories for E-commerce, ERP Simulation Game and logistics management to meet the needs of students’ practice and learning.
In recent years, the school has undertaken a couple of the National Natural Science Fund projects, the National Social Science Fund projects as well as various projects funded by the regional funds, with over 10 academic publications published.
The School has been active in making close academic exchanges with many foreign universities, including undergraduate joint programs with the School of Science and Technology of Le Mans University and Victoria University of Australia.
Every year, a number of students with excellence in conduct and academic performance have been selected to further study for postgraduate education in many universities at home and abroad.
Also, students from our school have made outstanding achievements in a variety of innovation-oriented competitions, including the gold and silver awards in the “Challenge Cup” Competition for Extra-Curricular Academic and Technical Works of Inner Mongolia, the second prize in Inner Mongolian Final of National Undergraduates Career Planning Competition and the second prize in Marketing Management Software & ERP Table Simulation Competition for National Undergraduates, etc.
